Fabulous Swingtones

N.E. Philadelphia, Pa band formed in 1958 with name variants such as The Fabulous "Swing Tones" or "Swingtones" They released two singles during the late 1950s on a local label. First one was picked up for national audience by a major and even overseas with a UK issue They likely appear to have also toured as "The Five Swing Tones" (April 18, 1958 Delaware County Daily Times from Chester, Pennsylvania · Page 12) Groups members shown on the image were (from the top to bottom and left to right) Ronald Vitello, Vinnie Rome, Walt Palmer, Justin Bruno and Vince Ferrizzi ([a4942103]) Most of them were also members of Vinnie Rome and The Rainbeaus that had another single released and made appearances in Grady and Hurst show in Atlantic City and the Dick Clark's American Bandstand by 1959.
