Arusha Jazz

Tanzanian band. Founded in 1971 in Arusha, Tanzania by the Kinyonga brothers (Wilson Peter Kinyonga and [a2672919]) after they left the Jamhuri Jazz Band. The band moved from Arusha to Mombasa in Kenya later in 1971 where they took the name [a1379606]. However, the brothers performed and recorded using both band names until 1973 when they stopped using the Arusha Jazz name.
