Arthur Morton

American orchestrator and arranger. Born: August 8, 1908 in Duluth, Minnesota Died: April 15, 2000 (age 91) in Santa Monica, California. He was the orchestrator of nearly every film score composed by Jerry Goldsmith. He also olso orchestrated for [a505456] in the 1940s thru the 1960s. Brother of Lawrence Morton. Father of avant-garde composer John Morton (3). Morton's and Goldsmith's first collaboration was on the film "Take Her She's Mine" in 1963 and ending with "L.A. Confidential" in 1997.
