Don Wise (2)

Wichita, Kansas Don Wise was the leader of Wichita's popular Rock-N-Tones band from 1958-1962. A swimming accident on July 4, 1962 paralyzed him from the shoulders down, but he continued to perform and record as able. In the early 1980s, inspired by a visit to the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, he began a family gospel-bluegrass group called The Outpost Family Band.
