Volkert Reiß

Co-founder of the German Black/Death Metal band The Awakening for which he played guitars and vocals from 1998 until 2008 when the band was put on hold. He was also a guitarist in the Black Metal band Daemons Embrace between 1999 and 2001. Currently he plays guitars in the Thrash/Hardcore band "Carthago Must Fall" (originally called "My Hate Unfolds") which he founded together with Ralf Büsing after The Awakening was put on hold.
