Noel Flatt

Composer, musician and sound designer, originally from Houston Texas. Flatt earned an A.A.S. in Audio Recording and Technology from Houston Community College in 1989, and went on to study composition and music theory at the University of Houston. While in Houston, he worked at Sugar Hill Recording Studio. He began composing for film and video in the late 1980s, and has written music for documentary, commercial, dramatic film, and corporate video projects. He spent six years as a freelance composer in New York before moving to Boston, Massachusetts in 2000. He has worked as staff audio engineer and producer for CSPS, doing audio-post mixing, music recording, and audiobook production. He has also worked as a composer/sound designer at Jones Cinema Arts.
