Howard Koch

American playwright and screenwriter. Best known for his radio script of Orson Welles' drama The War of the Worlds (1938) and for co-scripting Casablanca (1942) with Julius J. Epstein and Philip G. Epstein. Denounced as a Communist, he was blacklisted by the Hollywood film studio bosses in 1951.
