Alanda Williams

Blues and soul vocalist and drummer in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. Williams began playing drums and singing as a child and joined the gospel group Sons Of The South at age 14. After attending Coahoma Junior Collehe and Jackson State College, he moved to Philadelphia in 1968 and formed the soul group For Love. He later joined The Coasters and toured with the band from 1970 to 1991. Williams settled in Fort Worth, Texas in 1991 where he formed the blues band The Soul Kings.
