Der Gelbe Wahnfried (2)

Sort of eponymous name of Der Gelbe Wahnfried, but as far as facts show, it is more complicated: On [r2347617], the name "Der gelbe Wahnfried" occured first time on a LP. On this LP, the name "Der Gelbe Wahnfried" is used for the band, consisting of Detlef Maler, Torsten Schlarbaum, Arnfried Schobert and Winfried Knoll. In 1992 already, some of the members perform in different line-up, but with parts of the old songs in the group Die Wahnfrieds. Torsten Schlarbaum doesn't appear on the line-up, whereas Kurt Schimmelpfennig, who wrote part of the songs on [r2347617] and Stefan Schwalbe, both formerly performing in the band [a1607832]. Maler and Schimmelpfennig later perform also for Freygang, but Arnfried Schobert takes the name of the former band "Der Gelbe Wahnfried" and uses it as alias for himself. He is still performing, using this name until nowadays.
