Chris Carter: guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, teacher Chris Carter has performed in nightclubs, concerts and festivals throughout the U.S. and Europe leading his own group, The Chris Carter Band, or backing other artists. He's written, arranged and produced recordings for himself ("Night Shift", with Bobby Harden) and others, been featured on National Public Radio's syndicated program, "Portraits in Blue", and contributed an original tune, "Ain't Got No Home", to NBC's critically acclaimed prime time show, "Homicide: Life on the Streets". Recently, he played in the off-Broadway hit musical "Love, Janis", the life story of legendary blues-rock singer Janis Joplin.
