David Besley

U.S. bassist and songwriter. Born in Virginia. Lived in Jekyll Island, GA. Residing in St. Augustine, FL since 1988. Besides groups below, Besley has been a member of or sideman to Gary Miller and the Southern Review,Ludwell Newton, APB (Artimus Pyle Band), The Seiners, My Bird Still Ain’t Talking, Keepin’ It Real, The Hackers, The Big Lonesome and Those Guys. Member of the Saint Augustine Music Hall of Fame (The Seiners, Those Guys). Started releasing solo projects in 2010. Formed band The Carpetbaggers in 2019.
