Didier Weiss

French recording and mixing engineer mainly active from the late 70's until the mid 90's. Didier was born in Haguenau, but his family moved to Giromagny during his childhood. That's how some day in 1979, became his first involvement (keyboardist Olivier Richardot is his cousin). After he got his degree in Belfort, he pursued his career in Paris. From 1981 to 1985 he worked at Studio Acousti. But also in places such as Studio Guillaume Tell, Studio Mega, Studio Digital Services, Artistic Palace Studio, Studio D'Auteuil or Studio Musika. In the late 80's and through his private studio Midi 30, Didier will team up with Tony Carbonare (producer and manager) to record Hubert Félix Thiéfaine & Rictus. Later on he co-founded Latitude 101 Studio, Paris, together with Jean-Michel Bittard. He resides in Auroville, India since 1994, where he sporadically helps mainly on live events. Since 2000, he's CEO @ Sound Wizard, a consulting & sound designing company, among other responsible for [a4459]'s A.M. Studios located in Chennai, India.
