Planet Telex

Planet Telex's roots come from another band (Trevor Kohlman Band) and recording project (Loco Honey). In 2008, during the downtime in recording, guitarist/vocalist Tyson Wiebe and long-time friend/bassist/producer Quinton Viskup decided to record a few of Tyson's songs. That project eventually became Planet Telex; and their debut album, Nova. After a few false starts, Planet Telex finally found a steady line-up with the incorporation of guitarist Eric Amundsen and drummer Mickey Hayward. Planet Telex will be releasing their new EP, Wednesday, in summer of 2012. A new full length album is expected in 2013. So, essentially, a bunch of dudes made some tunes, played some shows and continued to do so. Could have saved yourself some time.
