Volks Jugend

A relatively short-lived NS Skinhead Oi! band from Osaka, Japan. Originally started as Volks Jugend, but later the Japanese writing 民族青年団 (Minzoku seinen-dan) was also used. The band -whose name literary translates to “Volks Jugend”, “Youth Corps of Nation” or "Youth Troop of Nation"- recorded and released just one demo tape, and have only played a handful of live shows, but they were closely associated with Gruesome from skinhead scene of the same area. The band’s existence was little known back then and even to this day remain unknown to most.
