Serginho, started playing at friend’s parties in the beginning of 1995. But, it was the following year that really saw him broke into the club scene, when he started a residency at Café da Praça: there, it took him only one and a half years for his performances become somewhat a cult. Almost at the same time he was lucky and he is invited to work with one of the most important records store in Oporto: Discomundo. In 1999, with the opening of Club Voice, the career of the young DJ experienced yet again another impulse: his performances as resident DJ in the first floor of this venue in Porto have remained until today in the collective memory of the true house music lovers. Therefore, it was not strange that Serginho got an invitation to produce his own show in a famous national Radio: Voxx. And, in 2001, a nomination for the magazine Dance Club, in the “Breakthrough DJ” category.
