Juan José Duarte López

Mexican flute player and multi-instrumentalist. Juan José Duarte López, together with his father, [a4515244] his mother, the Mexican singer María Elena López Duarte, and his three brothers make up the group Los Duarte, with whom he has toured international stages from an early age. At the Ollín Yoliztli School of Music he studied transverse flute with Maestro Rubén Islas. He has been part of several projects such as Imagen Andina, Olivia Molina, Mika Agematsu and Fernando Delgadillo. He has made recordings and concerts with other artists such as the Resorte Theater Company, Nur Slim, Alejandra Robles, David Filio, Pandora. He is currently a member of the Celtic music duo Bran Dúo, with flutist Fernanda Olmedo.
