Mark Van De Wiel

British clarinet player and teacher. Born in 1958 in Northampton, England, UK. He studied at the Royal College of Music, London. He was appointed principal clarinettist with The Welsh National Opera Orchestra and subsequently with the Glyndebourne Touring Opera. Founding member & principal of the Endymion Ensemble since its formation in 1980. He was Principal Clarinet with The Composers Ensemble (1992-2000). Principal clarinettist of the Philharmonia Orchestra (since 2000), London Sinfonietta (since 2002), and The London Chamber Orchestra. Teacher at the Royal Academy of Music.
