The Proclaimers (3)

Australian gospel group. They made their public debut in September 1966 at a Baptist Youth Fellowship rally and by July 1967 they had taken the name The Proclaimers and were beginning to perform interstate. They did 700 live performances across a forty year career that ended in 2006. Jonathan Summers was in the group before he left to follow a career in opera.
