Jumbo Ono

Jumbo Ono is a Japanese Bassist, born on September 17, 1954 in Shibuya, Tokyo. Influenced by his older brother, he began playing guitar and other instruments at the age of nine, later forming a band with friends and playing bass. While still in high school, he began working part-time with a veteran band. After graduating from high school, he became interested in the stand-up bass and studied practical skills with Tsuneo Shibata and theory with [a661587].
