Doghead Cola

Doghead Cola began as a moniker for the "Rant N Rave" 'zine editor/contributor, eventuating into the identity behind Ambient experimental and prepared-piano recordings, and finally later conjoined with lead singer, keyboardist and guitarist for The Expense, Shea Taylor, in a collaborative one-off project, Input Illudere. The duo released one E.P., "Burroughsian Mainline", in 1993, before Cola relocated to Colorado away from their shared locale in Texas. The Doghead Cola persona was splintered off from further involvement in music projects, used exclusively as a writing persona, with later spoken word credits on future audio releases. In addition to authorship in numerous 'zine publications and a handful of underground book releases, Doghead Cola became an identity known primarily for his contributions to "Iron Feather Journal".
