Finnish genre-bending group from Oulu, blending flamenco, folk music, jazz, prog, and ethnic elements from different parts of the world Bohemika started as a multi-disciplinary flamenco project created by Kristian Kokko in 2008, combining dance and music. The Kristian Kokko Ensemble included Kokko, as well as dancer and choreographer Krista Saaranen, vocalist and lyricist Eeva-Maria Kauniskangas, percussionist Pauliina Kauppila, and violinist and bassist Antti Rundelin. Their performance, the first Finnish-language flamenco performance, "Kolmannessa huoneessa" premiered in 2009. These songs eventually developed into Bohemika's first album, 10211323 (2011).
