Since 1977, Mr. X, recently better known as Guttamouf, began emceeing and DJing in Jamaica, Queens, NY. Started performing in '84 with Lyvio G and The Sound Experience rocking park jams and halls such as Fantasia, Le Chalet, etc. Was a part of P-Fine and Lyvio G's crew, who hosted and ran the legendary 80's NYC 'Rap This' radio show on 89.1 WNYU. In '87, put out an underground smash hit called "Mr. X & Mr. Z Drink Old Gold", under the moniker Mr. X & Mr. Z (with Lyvio G as Mr. Z). From '89 to '93 was the frontman for the group, The Eightball Ruffnecks (aka Eightball of "What the Fuck is the Eightball" fame). After that, he formed another group called 25 is Life, with his partner-in-crime, Flave aka Ant Digglah. Worked with Dorchester, Massachusetts' renown party rocker, DJ Excel (eventually releasing "Get This Dough" with Ant Digglah). Met and connected with Celph Titled (of Demigodz/Army of the Pharaohs) in '99, and was featured on 2 of his records ("Extra Thug Sauce" and "Real Villains"). Today, he is still active and releasing music digitally under various monikers such as Vic The Boom Baptist and Old Man Galactus. In recent years, he teamed up as a member of the underground hip hop collective known as The Certain Ones. Also an avid beatmaker, producing tracks for Big Scoob (aka Scoob Lover), Essential, Feral Serge, Neilla D, Sweeny Blaque, No Ordinary Chic, Sczar, NTG, J BoogZ, Sheik Ron, Jae Da God, Flowers, Crotona P, and many more.
