Pekka Hokkanen

Pekka Hokkanen (b.1979) is Finnish printmaker. He is working with mezzotint, copper engraving, dry point, woodcut and several drawing methods. His working special features are mystery and completed result. ”My artwork may born in a two different ways. The first way is to build wholeness with small sketches. It's like a puzzle. Sometimes I have idea in my mind as such, whole and completed. To me, the most important things are excellent idea and polished result.” His works are in several public and private art collections. Pekka Hokkanen has participated in numerous international exhibitions in Finland and abroad. He have had solo exhibitions in Finland and Bulgaria. He is internationally awarded printmaker.
