The Red Mountain Gospellers
Настоящее имя: The Red Mountain Gospellers
Об исполнителе:
In 1966, “The Red Mountain Gospellers” was composed with high school friends who performed in St Joseph's Church in Montrouge (near Paris, France).. As the group was very successful with the church full, the priest (Father Dufourmantelle) offered to record a disc. “The gospel singers of Montrouge” then recorded a mini studio album, entitled: Negro spirituals. In the world of vinyl discography, the story could have ended there, except that in this group there is a very young organist (he will also play harmonica and guitar on this album) of 15/16 years old. His name, Jean-Jacques Goldman. This is the first record of this French author / composer / producer. Quantity of pressing is 500 copies. This disc was not distributed but sold out of the church sometimes by the group itself.
