Dutch-Swedish concertmaster and composer, born April 7, 1885 in Amsterdam, died October 24, 1944. He studied in Amsterdam and Cologne. He was concertmaster in Leipzig, Riga and at the Stockholm Concert Association and concertmaster at the Royal Theater from 1921. He was leader of the Wilhelmitrion founded in 1915, participated as a soloist at Swedish concerts in Berlin and London, at the Swedish music festival in Kiel 1926, ditto in Frankfurt am Main 1927 and at the Nordic music festival in Stockholm the same year. Wilhelmi composed Berceuse for violin and piano (printed), two symphonies, violin concerto (printed), ballads for one voice with orchestra, string quartet, choral work with orchestra, ballad for four voices and string quartet, trio for piano, violin and cello, sonata for piano and violin, Sky Blue for male choir and orchestra (1927) and small suite for oboe and piano (1929). He was awarded the medal Litteris et Artibus in 1929.
