Warp Spasm (4)

New Zealand technical death metal band that rose from the remnants of thrash band Epitaph. Originally from New Plymouth, later relocating to Wellington. Active from 1992 to about 1997. Warp Spasm released only one cassette in 1993 but appeared on a couple of compilations. Played notable supporting gigs to touring international metal bands Slayer, Pungent Stench and Carcass. Not to be confused with two other bands named Warp Spasm from the UK or the band Warpspasm who are possibly Australian.
