"Mourning Coup is a music project spearheaded by Chandra Melting Tallow of mixed ancestry from the Siksika Nation. With foundations in performance art, their music project “Mourning Coup” has made its way into the arms of experimental pop. Melting-Tallow takes influences from artists like the Eurythmics, Bruce Haack and Freddie Mercury, and combines them with the exploration of the relationship of the metaphysical realm.
