Denis Chapman

From Huntington, West Virginia. Known for his outstanding vocal range and interpretative ability, Denis Chapman has traveled on the road singing Gospel and Country music most of his life. Among his most cherished honors is his appointment in 1982 as Ambassador of Music by his home state and his 1993 Distinguished West Virginian award, his state’s highest honor. He has recorded more than 30 albums and several nationally charted songs, the first in 1968 with his group The Mani String Singers. Chapman also charted several songs with The Gospel Harmony Boys, the group he performed with from 1981-99.
