Ирина Иванова

Irina Ivanova, born April 30, 1951 in Leningrad, is a church choir director. From 1984 to 1993, with the blessing of Archbishop Kirill of Vyborg, Rector of the Leningrad Theological Academy, she performed the obedience of the conductor of the liturgical mixed choir of the Leningrad Theological Academy. From 1984 to 1993, as the head of the mixed choir of the Leningrad Theological Academy, she took part with the choir in various creative projects both in Russia and abroad. Under her leadership, the choir recorded a record for the 1000th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus' (1988) and CDs: “Rivers of Theology” / «Реки богословия», “Indestructible Wall” / «Нерушимая стена» (2008).
