Andrew Franey

Andrew Franey is a synthpop recording artist, producer and the former singer/songwriter/guitarist of the Canadian pop/punk band Smoother. Andrew is a Juno nominated artist (Best New Group 2001, Smoother) and has spent the last several years writing, producing and evolving as an artist. His love of synthpop/electropop artists such as, Chvrches, Kavinsky and Starcadian, to name a few, and the resurgence of synth music in recent years, have inspired him to record and release The Stars Shine For You, his first album in over a decade. It is the first release of Andrew's newly founded indie label​,​ We Are Droid Records.
