Bernice Rubens (born July 26, 1923, Cardiff, Wales – died October 13, 2004) was a Welsh novelist. She won the Booker Prize for fiction in 1970 for The Elected Member (1969). Before she devoted her time to writing, she was a classical cellist with The Welsh National Opera Orchestra. Sister of Cyril Reuben (2).
