Monika Kammerlander

She is a native of Salzburg, where she studied violin at the Mozarteum Academy with Prof. Steinschaden and Prof. Zehtmair. She attended the Tschaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow on a state scholarship, and later studied with Sandor Végh and Robert Soetens. Since 1986 she has been a sub-principal first violinist in the Mozarteum Orchestra, Salzburg, where she now is Konzertmeister.
