D. Lorean

30 April 1984. The birth of D. Lorean. A humanoid child was found amongst the embers of classic Motown, the spirit of the electro-pop era and the prospect of the fall of the Iron Curtain. Their first message beamed to the future was the single Hardwired, a dark, sleazy missive of italo-disco-infused pop, formed with their kindred musical spirit Damocles. D. Lorean went on to perform with soul goddess Jocelyn Brown and UK synth heroes Hurts, and followed in the latter's footsteps by picking up regular international airplay in the Benelux and Eastern Europe before making it in their home territory. D. Lorean will be crash landing at the I Venti D'Azzurro Italo Disco party in Milan, Italy on 7 May 2016.
