Avi Salloway

Avi Salloway is a musician, activist, and educator who has co-written, produced, and recorded on 15 albums and performed over 1500 concerts across five continents. He is the bandleader and songwriter for the band, Billy Wylder, and previously the guitarist/singer in Bombino’s band, the Tuareg guitar master from Niger. Salloway has collaborated and performed with Jack Johnson, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Bombino, David Longstreth (Dirty Projectors), The Low Anthem, Celia Woodsmith, and Pete Seeger. As an activist, he uses music as a tool to build community, environmental and indigenous justice, and peace and justice in the Middle East.
