The Weak Creatures

Weak Creatures is a Texas-based band, which consists of core members Travis Weatherred of Houston and Joe Rivera of Austin. Travis began his musical career as a drummer and has played in various bands in the Houston area since the age of 17. He has continued in his musical endeavors over the years as a singer and songwriter. Joe is an experienced keyboardist, who uses a wide range of experimental techniques to bring depth and an inventive quality to his work. The two were brought together through their shared interests in experimental rock, avant-garde, post-rock, neo-folk, and psychedelic rock. Their musical experience and eclectic array of influences are manifested in a sound that is textured and atmospheric, at times even abrasive, sweeping in and out of an acoustic landscape, and layered with vocals full of visceral passion.
