Jeffrey Lewis (5)

Composer, organist, pianist and conductor, born in 1942 in Neath, South Wales. After studying at Cardiff University, he left for Europe, where he studied with Ligeti, Stockhausen and Bogusław Schäffer and subsequently worked as a contemporary music ensemble pianist in Paris. Lewis taught composition and contemporary music at Leeds College of Music and then Bangor University until 1992.
