Joyce Lalor

Joyce Lalor was born in 1915. She died of a heart attack in April 1981 in Jamaica. Joyce was well known for her work in the areas of education and music. She worked at many Primary, High & Technical Schools. Later, she worked with the Educational Broadcasting Service. At her time of death she was working with JAMAL. She was an assistant supervisor in the Educational Media and Methodology unit. Mrs Lalor did a lot of work in the area of music. She was a leading soloist and a singer at pantomimes. She formed the National Dance Theatre, Company Singers. Joyce made the song "Evening Time" famous.
