Alternative? Noise Rock? Grunge? Nu Metal? Stereotyped thinking? No interest! Sunburn don't fit into any pigeonhole. The five guys like to sit between the chairs and don't feel like moving in the direction of "pandering to trends". This isn't about customizing. After all, this is about rock. Why no more hard riffs? Why no melodic singing? Not modern enough? Whistled on it. It's all about honesty and authenticity. Rocking is the order of the day, done! Because Sunburn are real! Joy and sadness, outburst of anger and silence are the outermost coordinates – everything is possible in between. Sunburn are the storm, but also the calm before it. And it fits. Sunburn do their thing and know that you can't reinvent the wheel of music. But you can try to give it a different profile: Rock is dead?! Long live rock! Beauty is ephemeral! Ferdinando, Lars, Moritz, Nico and Jürgen founded Sunburn in 1998. On their own, they released an EP ("No Belief") and an LP ("Man behind the Wall"). This was followed by regional and national appearances as the opening act for bands such as Miles, Readymade, Think about Mutation and Harmful, as well as the nomination for the German Rock Award in the category "Best Song". In April 2003, the first official album "beauty?" followed, for which Ralph Quick, who had already helped H-Blockx and Die Happy to really good sound, behind the regulators. The four-week recordings took place in a studio in Denmark. The result is a damn good album, which finds a damn good successor in October 2005. More! Of everything! Beauty is a thing of the past. The five gentlemen of Sunburn do not sit on the success of "beauty?". Couch is also shit. Sunburn were just back in the studio to record their second album, which will be released on October 17, 2005. And the new record has it all. The motto is "more" On "Loose Yourself" there is more rock and more feeling, more blows with the frying pan and more soft falling into down pillows. Beauty is a thing of the past. Now it's time to "let go"
