Swiss composer from Trin, Graubünden, born in 1867; died in 1961. He also was teacher, farmer, lyricist and conductor. He moved to Italy between 1890 and 1905 and returned in 1905 to join the political life in his place of birth. A fountain is dedicated to him in the village of Trin.
