Sara Sjödahl

Swedish classical pianist and keyboardist, from Gothenburg, born on 20 June 1959. She is educated at the music academies in Malmö and Gothenburg. She has participated in cross-border projects such as the stage concert "Café Terezin" at the Gothenburg Concert Hall, "Accordance" with Dansgruppen Rytmbá "and Ika Nord under the direction of the Riksteatern. She plays chamber music with members of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in various constellations and has worked at the Gothenburg Academy of Music as a teacher of musical studies. She has worked with Professor Gunilla Gårdfeldt in her research project as a pianist and musical director. Under the auspices of Music in the West, she has toured, initiated and staged a variety of musical performances for children. She is a member of the cabaret group Tappra mödrars kapell which performs its own material.
