Katrin Schickedanz

Classical trained cellist Katrin Schickedanz was born 1972 in Darmstadt (Germany) and studied concert cello at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Since 1986 she has been active in chamber music in various formations. Among others, she is a founding member of the Villa-Lobos Trio. Tours with different ensembles and chamber orchestras have taken her throughout Europe, to China, Kenya, Jordan and the USA. Katrin Schickedanz also works as a musical educator at various music schools and today lives in Austria.
