Kobe is a metal band originating from Sidoarjo, East Java and consisting of Czech (vocals), Shance (vocals), Helmi (guitar), Dayat (bass), Idham (drums). Kobe's name began to be known since becoming a finalist and also winning The Best Performance at the X/2004 Se-Indonesia Rock Festival in Surabaya. Kobe was originally sponsored by seasoned rock promoter Log Zhelebour. Kobe was founded on May 25, 2000 and was originally a Karang Taruna band in a village in Sidoarjo. Since then they have often attended band festivals, ranging from festivals in the regions, provinces to national festivals. Their first experience entering the studio was when Kobe joined the Djarum Super Rock Festival X 10 Finalist Compilation Album with the song "Rock Show". Under the auspices of the management artist Log Zhelebour, their debut album was released two years later entitled Positive Thinking. In 2009, Kobe re-released his second album, Choose Me to be No. 1, Dualizme with the hit single Wet Dreams. In 2008, Kobe became the opening act for rock band Skid Row in Indonesia.
