GEORGE HARVEY is a man of many faces. For George, show business isn’t just what he does, it’s what he is. He has been developing his skills since early school days when George’s teachers realised he had a personality & a voice.. a voice that made him the Solo Vocal Champion at Marist Brother’s colleges Australia-wide for 6 consecutive years. Even away from school, George’s place was on the stage, starring in productions of “The King & I”, “Camelot” and “The Sound of Music”. The next decade was a whirlwind of solo shows, band and compere work. In the mid 1970’s, George’s career was as diverse as his onstage costumes. One night, it was black leather, a rock band and Elvis rock ‘n’ roll. The next night, it was a dinner suit, a big band and the music of Frank Sinatra. In 1981, while at St. George Leagues Club in Sydney, George noticed the original Four Kinsmen sitting on an adjoining table. On finding out that one of the members was leaving, he asked the guys “When you’re looking for a replacement, don’t look any further than me, will you?” They didn’t – and George’s career with the Four Kinsmen began. This career that took him all over the world – from the concert stages of Australia to their own show in a major showroom on the Las Vegas strip.
