Brad DeHart

American blues musician, born on New Year's Eve in the musically rich city of New Orleans and grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana, the heart of the Cajun country. From a very early age, he had a definite love for music and enjoyed listening to his father's records on an old hi-fidelity system. Brad began his musical career in the late 60's playing in a rock and roll band called The Persian Market which featured Keith Thibodeaux (Little Ricky of 'I Love Lucy' fame) on drums. The band enjoyed regional popularity in Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. In 1969, Brad became a solo act and exited the decade with a performance at Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, France. Performing has taken Brad from his roots in Louisiana to cities in Europe, and these musical experiences have given him new ways to let people hear and feel where he's coming from. Other than jamming occasionally with family and friends, Brad left his music behind in 1973 to pursue a different career and raise a family.
