Outstanding venezuelan lyricist and singer. Ignacio Izcaray was born in Carora, Lara on July 31st 1960. Known also as Nacho Izcaray, belong to a musician family where his big brother is a renowned orchestra and chorus director. Ignacio Izcaray is a composer with a delightful inspiration in themes generally dedicated to love. Izcaray began his music carreer as soloist in 1985, in 1987, Nacho obtained a honorific mention in "A Song for Caracas" Festival with his composition "Caracas, Mujer y Ciudad". The Izcaray's compositions has recorded by musicians as Maria Teresa Chacin, Delia Dorta, Esperanza Marquez , Nancy Toro and the first venezuelan Bolero's singer Mrs Graciela Naranjo. According to his own words, his artistic vein came to him from his grandfather who escape from a seminary with a female dancer with who felt in love, and he is a son of a deaf pianist who never lost a smile from his soul.
