Jim Harle

British drummer, from the north-east of England, and formerly with Bullfrog (4). Active since the late-1960s, he initially began his career in a band called Tough Childhood, with fellow north-easterners Allen Mechen and Ray Blake. He left in 1972 to join Bullfrog, who were also playing the college/music hall/pub circuit, and remained with them until their split in 1975. He later became a traffic police officer.
