Brad Weir (2)

Canadian drummer, promoter, manager, and record company executive based in Toronto, Ontario. In the 1970s was buyer for CBS Canada's A & A Records Toronto, leaving in 1976 to join the promo department of Capitol Records-EMI Of Canada Limited where he handled the Chrysalis label. In 1978 he moved to Polydor Ltd. (2) but soon jumped ship again to CBS Records Canada Ltd. In the 1983 he left CBS to form Aronson, Powers and Weir (aka Aaronson Weir & Associates Ltd.) with other ex-CBS staffers Rick Aaronson and Graham Powers. They founded Rockbill Ltd., which was later taken over by their licensor EMCI. Weir left EMCi in 1993 to found agency Encore Encore Strategic Marketing. In 2021 co-founded Turnstyle Branded Entertainment.
