John Walters (7)

American musician based in Austin, Texas. Walters plays cello, bass and treble viola da gamba, rebec, vielle, violin, mandolin, oud, and guitar. He founded the group Clearlight Waites and also plays with Austin Troubadours, Austin Baroque Orchestra, and Texas Early Music Project. Walters received a degree in Music Education from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to become an orchestra director in the Austin school district.
