D-Smile

D-smile is a fringe band that had the privilege of documenting its music. The base of the band was two sisters: the singer and lyricist Tali Weizman and the bass player Sharon Weizman, who composed most of the songs. The band's songs that Weizmann didn't compose were composed by all the band members together, creating a heavy hard grunge and noisy rock sound. The band's sound was formed during the years of working in rehearsal rooms and performing in various clubs in Tel Aviv, including "The 12th Night", "Humous Bar", "Logos" and "Barbie". Their album, Kiss, was released in January 2000, independently produced by the band and the studio, and is mainly distributed through the "Third Ear" record store.
