Mads Dybdal Andersen

Session and freelance drummer from Aarhus, Denmark. When Mads was 21 years old he got in contact with blues guitarist, Otis Grand, and became drummer in the London based band: ”Otis Grand & The Big Bluesband”. They toured around Europe for about 3½ years. Played with artists Steve Cropper, Ike Turner, Kim Wilson, Pee Wee Ellis, Curtis Salgado, Sugar Ray Norcia, Anson Funderburg, Debbie Davies, Jimmy T99 Nelson, Jimmy Thomas, Joe Houston and many others. In 2001 he went back to Denmark and played in his brothers band, Mike Andersen Band , for about. 6 years. Since then worked as a freelance drummer for both danish og foreign artists such as: Ivan Pedersen trio, Henning Stærk, Rock Nalle, Michelle Birkballe, H.P. Lange, Baumgartner Brdr., Alan Haynes, Lurrie Bell, Tony Vega, Kai Strauss, Jønssons Fristelser and Anders Blichfeldt.
